Schools Support Breast Cancer Awareness
Several local schools are supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Here are a few of the events, provided by the Berkeley County School District:
Stratford High is hosting events every day this week to raise awareness, leading up to their Pink Whistle Game on Oct. 21 against West Ashley. The game is part of the S. C. Football Officials’ Association’s efforts to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Football officials, players and cheerleaders across the state will be wearing pink to raise funds. Also, students are encouraged to wear pink to school on Thursday and to the game on Friday.
