I love this bracelet. Each bead represents a cancer and like many I have family and friends suffering from different ones. This bracelet covers them all. I gave some to friends to show their support as well.Well worth the money. I would recommend it.

Okay, so there's lots of ribbons for awareness. They're multiplying too fast. I only know the yellow and pink. What are the other color meanings?

Bright Futures are Drug Free
What is Red Ribbon Week?
In 1985, an undercover DEA agent, Enrique “Kiki” Camarena Salazar, was kidnapped, brutally tortured and killed by drug traffickers in Mexico. In response to this horrific act of violence, many young people in Kiki’s hometown of Calexico, Calif., pledged to remain drug free and wore red ribbons in honor of the sacrifice Kiki made.
In 1988, the National Family Partnership initiated the first National Red Ribbon Week. Since then, the last full week in October is observed as “Red Ribbon Week,” and red ribbons are worn as a promise to lead a drug free life. The National Family Partnership refers to the Red Ribbon Campaign as "an opportunity to send a consistent anti-drug message to young people."
How are Cinnaminson schools participating?
Cinnaminson joined the thousands of communities and schools in promoting Red Ribbon Week and prevention of drug use. Students and faculty at New Albany and Eleanor Rush schools dressed in mismatched clothes and crazy socks. They were not making fashion statements. They were showing their colors by “socking” it to drugs and letting everyone know that they and drugs “do not match.
