I'm thinking about getting a beautiful tattoo of the comedy/tragedy masks and have been doing some research about them and found out they actually symbolize theater, which is not my intent. To me, they symbolize a struggle and overcoming it.
I have a tattoo of the comedy/tragedy masks, I hade my tattoo artist put his own special touch on them and they came out amazing!!!!!
I never was in to theater and also did alot of research on them before making up my mind.

Hedging theatrical, a comedy and a tragedy
The time tested concept of hedging failed in Sri Lanka because the CPC officials failed/refused to be guided by professional advice, ignored all warning signals, got involved with the wrong counter parties, unilaterally disregarded directives of the Treasury Secretary and most importantly had concealed agendas that put self interest ahead of that of the country.
Arbitration hearing was lost because a “learn as you go” approach was adopted. If we fail to change, our failures will be perpetual. I state, as I see it.
The court ruling converged with my expectation as my position was that any endeavour to fight this matter on legal terms is an outright futile endeavour. Validity of the structure/instruments and the court ruling must be contested. For that to happen, change is required. Success of the appeal is contingent upon technical expertise, and the legal team be guided accordingly. Any endeavour to pursue the appeal process in isolation without technical expertise would result in a repeat performance of what we just saw.
Comedy = Someone else's tragedy. But it's still someone's tragedy ...
In this surveillance video image released Sept. 17, 2005, by the FBI, pizza deliveryman Brian Wells, of Erie, Pa., carries a plastic bag of cash after robbing the PNC bank, Aug. 28, 2003, at Summit Towne Centre in Erie. Wells was killed when a bomb that was attached to a collar locked around his neck exploded after the robbery. Columbia Pictures comedy film "30 Minutes or Less" opens in theaters nationwide on Friday. Family members of Wells, say they will avoid the film that has a premise similar to the incident that killed Wells. "It's hard for me to grasp how other human beings can take delight and pride in making such a movie and consider it a comedy," Heid said in an e-mailed response to The Associated Press. Heid asked to respond by e-mail because she wanted to choose her words carefully. "I don't think it's funny to laugh at the innocent who are victimized by criminals, who care nothing for human life." "Neither the filmmakers nor the stars of '30 Minutes or Less' were aware of this crime prior to their involvement in the film," Steve Elzer, the senior vice president who handles media relations for Sony Pictures' Columbia TriStar Motion Picture Group, said in a statement. "The writers were vaguely familiar with what had occurred and wrote an original screenplay that does not mirror the real-life tragedy.
Book Review: The Forever War « Comedy or Tragedy?
Is a science fiction classic — and righly so. Written in response to the author’s experience in the Vietnam War, the novel follows Mandela, a young man conscripted to fight in an interstellar conflict against a little understood alien foe. It is deeply thematic story, examining the dehumanization of warfare, as well as its bureaucratic aspects. Despite a philosophical bent, most of the story is told through unfolding action sequences, in which Mandela is trained, dispatched to battle, discharged, reenlisted, and so on. The catch is that unlike humanity’s previous wars, ’time dilation’ plays a role in this future conflict. Due to faster than light travel through the stars, Mandela barely ages while life on Earth unspools for decades, and eventually centuries. Mandela stays young, a hero in a war that should never have been waged, while everything he’s fought for changes beyond recognition.
