I have always regretted returning to Kuching for my holiday period.
Apart from attendance at movie theaters or Kopitiam, I have no idea where to go.
But my first visit to the Rainforest World Craft Bazaar recent (RWCB) changed my perception of my hometown that actually a lot to offer.
I was assigned to cover the Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF) 2011 for three days.
The bazaar was organized in collaboration with RWMF 2011 in Sarawak Cultural Village to present the arts and crafts from around the world.
As I read "trade" the word on the festival program, my eyes lit up - it's a perfect excuse to satisfy my thirst to buy handicrafts.
It has been years since I went to the Sarawak Cultural Village.
As I walked to the open house where the Melanau Bazaar was held, the view of the village took my breath and filled me with terror.
Lush green forest surrounding the village, guarded by virgins of Mount Santubong.

It is a wonderful value in Jewellery. I bought this for my girlfriend to wear at a party official, and it worked really well.
The price is a bargain given the artistic quality and the flower itself is just the right size. (I was worried it might be a little bit, because things seem so much more with zoom close-ups on the site, but I was not disappointed. If I remember correctly it was about the size of half a dollar a piece).
The other reviews are correct: the string itself is a bit tricky, but it does the job. The focus of this piece remains the tag.
Overall, a great addition to any jewelry collection.
** Update ** Amazon now lists a pair of earrings that match this pendant. I did buy, but they seem to be miniature versions of the same floral pattern.
Like many others, I have mixed feelings about this. The pendant is very pretty (but a bit bigger than I expected), but the chain that comes with it is ridiculous! It is far too thin and it seems he can barely support the weight of the pendant. I immediately switched to the thicker, the chain and now I am happy with my purchase.If it were not for the problem of the chain, I would give it 4 stars instead of item 3....
