Fun novelty bike but impractical
This is a very fun little novelty bike that is well made and sturdy but it is geared so low that it is completely impractical for actual use as a commuter bike. The rider must peddal constantly just to maintain brisk walking speed. However, it is a blast to ride around the house or the... -
Fun to ride, exceed my expectation
It rides like a regular bike, it might not look like one:). The saddle might need to be replaced for more comfortable seating. I was told these bikes would be harder to balance because of its small wheels, but it's perfectly fine. I feel pretty safe on it. For the price it is amazing. I...
Monkey / Clown Mini Bike racing in Milton Keynes 3
My minature bicycle with old-school horn!
Monkey or Clown Bike Racing in Milton Keynes. Three bikes £10, two many beers £30, silly race whilst drunk - priceless.
The new Wilsonville Fred Meyer is a hit!
It has been a few weeks since Fred Meyer opened in Wilsonville but the fanfare and resident enthusiasm has not diminished in the least. My family stopped in a few days after all the grand opening fun and it was still packed. We even saw Bill Shonley walking out with a full cart. I contained a "Rip City" – I'm sure he gets sick of that!
It was funny how the kids acted like they were in Disneyland as they explored this exciting new addition to "The Ville" (as us locals call it) . Our youngest was fascinated by the big 300 pound hunk of "Mammouth" cheddar carved to look like the Wilsonville store by cheese artist Sarah Kaufmann (go-figure I did not know about cheese art!)
We had dinner there, which was fun because we all got to pick our own favorite things then meet up in the eating area for a diverse family feast. I was impressed to see the sushi maker on site making rolls so I ordered a fresh California roll. My oldest daughter hit the salad bar and the rest of the family had some seriously cheesy homemade macaroni and cheese and fried chicken. The drink fountain offered flavor shots along with your soda. I love this because I am a big cherry cola fan. I had two shots! They even had a self serve milkshake machine that churns the container of ice-cream of your choice fresh and right in front of you.
