Customer Reviews:
  1. Thumbs Up-What does that tell you?
I thought some of the negative reviews were a bit critical of this book. This book lays a solid foundation to reading non verbal actions or "tells". I've read several other books on this subject and thought this was a solid read and I was very happy with my purchase. There is no single book...
  2. Advice from a 30 year law enforcement vet- BUY THIS BOOK!
I have been in law enforcement for close to 30 years on a large agency- I am always on the lookout for useful tools of the trade that I can use and pass along to my investigators. This book is great! It is packed with useful information. No, I am not a shill for this book and do not know the...

Facebook Finds Old Contract Saying Investor Does Not Own Half the Company as ...

On Friday, Facebook 's lawyers made news when they told a court hearing a lawsuit brought by the alleged initial investor in Facebook , Paul Ceglia, that they'd found the "smoking gun" proving the alleged investment contract was a fraud.

But the document filed to the court that contained the "smoking gun" allegations didn't specify what the smoking gun was.

The answer?

Facebook says they've found the "authentic contract" between Ceglia and Zuckerberg. Facebook is also charging that Ceglia, who they say is now living in Ireland, is holding back electronic storage devices he intentionally tried to hide from them.

Both parties agree that in 2003 Ceglia hired Zuckerberg, then a Harvard undergrad, to do work for his StreetFax company. But Ceglia filed suit in 2010, saying the contract also included $1,000 initial funding for Facebook, and that he's entitled to more than half of the social networking giant.

Facebook argues the contract Ceglia produced electronically is a forgery and that Ceglia is a known con artist.

Pellicano speaks without saying much - LA Observed

Imprisoned former Hollywood troubleshooter Anthony Pellicano said during his first prison interview — with Daily Beast writer Christine Pelisek for Newsweek magazine — that he knew enough about Arnold Schwarzenegger to prevent him from becoming governor. Pellicano also said that he dropped Michael Jackson as a client because he discovered that Jackson "did something far worse to young boys than molest them.” But he offers no details or evidence for any of his claims. Pellicano is serving a 15-year sentence in Big Spring, Texas and won't be eligible for a parole date until 2019. He's facing 30 civil lawsuits, the story says, including one from former L.A. Times reporter Anita Busch.

Pellicano gained access to Hollywood’s A-list after meeting celebrity power-attorney Bert Fields, who started using his services. Eventually, the detective was spying on Sylvester Stallone, comedian Garry Shandling, and Nicole Kidman....

GayPatriot » What one erstwhile supporter of Obama is saying today

Yes. but where is the Democratic Party stalwart to challenge and/or take-down Obama from being re-nominated? Obama’s traveling about the Nation by Air Force One fly-ins and Presidential motorcades collecting HUGE gobs of Party-faithful cash and expecting the fealty of the faithful as it he has no challenger within the Party.

“Faithful Elector” laws in many of the states will preclude a last-minute floor-nomination of Hillary by the Convention’s state delegations who are locked-in for the first four-to-six rounds of votes. As-much as I don’t like her, she’s perhaps has the most-stature to make meaningful compromises with the GOP if she’s elected. Currently I just don’t see a GOP candidate who’s both doing favorably in the polls, AND who can do the compromises necessary. Maybe Huntsman…maybe Huntsman….certainly not Romney, Bachmann or Pawlenty.
