Customer Reviews:
  1. Cute story, but doesn't offer much for girls
This book is cute enough as far as potty books go, and my little boy really enjoys it (especially the flaps). However, I was disappointed to find that apparently firefighters, police officers, train engineers, restaurant servers, etc are all men. There is one female user of the potty, a doctor,...
  2. Potty Training Can Be Fun -- Even for Parents and Grandparents!
This delightful lift-the-flap picture book not only works as an effective potty-training tool, but it's also great fun to read -- even for parents and grandparents. The surprises under the lift-up flaps on each page -- and especially the very last one -- make EVERYONE laugh away the stresses of...

Authorities search Back Pond, comb woods for missing Stewartstown girl

Stewartstown - A call was made for fire Friday morning that the teams trained and deployed in several areas around Stewartstown in the fourth day of searching for Celina Cass, 11.

A team of researchers began looking in an area around the school community Stewartstown, while on the other end of the city of New Hampshire Fish and Game Conservation Officers conducted research online in the thick woods beyond Pond Road Back.

A hunting and fishing boat, containing a preservative, a law enforcement officer not identified, and a dog was on the lake of 22 acres, while a helicopter flew low overhead.

Just down the road, FBI agents jumped the barrier to the transfer station on Pond Road Stewartstown Back, but soon returned after a quick search.

"It's not a deep pool is a pool of mud," said Emily Haynes, who lives on the road.

Women firefighters take the heat in Pa.

Lebanon Daily News

LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. - Patti Kreitzer was only 14 when she became a junior firefighter with the Bunker Hill Fire Co. Swatara Township in.

Since then, the mother of 34 years on two responded to hundreds of fires, fatal accidents, storms and medical calls and is so invested in his work of volunteers who, for years she drove a truck fire until she was eight months pregnant.

Kreitzer, a paramedic, is still with the same company and worked his way up to Chief Medical Officer and Secretary. These days, she is encouraged to see more women join the ranks, but they are still few and far between in companies in Lebanon County Fire.

"There are more young women coming," she said. "It was a male-dominated thing, because it is not easy It's a lot of hard work training you'll ... you have to hang out with guys people come and go -... Men and women - it is quite a turnaround. It is not for everyone. It is in your blood or no....

LyndaLarch 10538: Back to Reality

The "Working Wives of Westchester" reality television show is wrapping up production. Unlike those other reality"wives," these women are supposed to be less catty and bratty, more professional and serious. Uh huh. No Larchmont women are starring in the show (that could be a good thing in the event things turn ugly), but the Sound Shore area is well-represented with women from Pelham, Rye, and Scarsdale. Get updates on the show

After looking at the photo of the chosen women, I understand why Larchmont didn't make the cut. (Most!) Larchmont women are much more laid back. We don't have the perfect blown out hair, make up and wardrobe. We are more comfortable running our errands in yoga or tennis gear. And that even goes for those of us who work full time.
