Tavistock Times staff member Carol Garbett is having her head shaved at 2.30pm on Friday 28th October in support of the annual Breast Cancer âwear it pinkâ day. Carol has decided to do this as a result of discovering her daughter in law has an extremely rare and aggressive form of the illness at the young age of twenty nine. Carol says âThis has definitely brought to my attention how many men and women are fighting this illness, and that donating to this cause will help with Breast Cancer awareness and the research into improved treatments.â A sponsor form is available in the Tavistock Times office for anyone wishing to support this very worthy cause.
