Me? I'm with Ticonderoga Securities analyst, Brian White, who last week called the initial criticisms of the new smartphone " superficial " and a " knee-jerk reaction ".
He's right.
It's just the usual people celebrating the usual crush and the Android people trying to find fault as they desperately shore up their soon to be flagging, insanely insecure, patent-breaking so-called "mobile operating system".
Critics. You want to love them, but so many seem to lack integrity.

The type of jewellery you wear often conveys a message about who you are and/or how you're feeling that day. Sometimes you want to show a serious, sober image and wear plain items in gold or silver… and sometimes you might want to show a more fun, quirky side to your character by wearing jewellery with a particular motif such as an animal or piece of fruit! Apples are a perennial favourite when it comes to fruity jewellery, because their chunky shape and rich colour make it so easy to immortalise apples as pendants or charms. And to tie in with the "forbidden fruit" association that apples have got going on, you always can team your apple pendant/charm with a snake ring or bracelet !

I've concentrated on sterling silver, because it's within the reach of most pockets yet will hold its value as a precious metal. Scroll on down and have a look at the charms and pendants in the capsules below and on the right, and see what you think. Personally I think they're delicious and would make a great gift or treat for yourself. If it's classic style charms you're after, then consider whether you want to go for charms that come with a conventional bale (although do bear in mind that you may need patience and a pair of pliers to attach them to your bracelet!), or a clip on charm with a fastening such as a lobster or spring ring clasp. If you feel that a clip on fastening is too bulky, then you might want to buy a charm with a split ring - it's easier to attach than a charm with an ordinary bale, but the split ring isn't as obvious as a clip on fastening! All the charms listed above (except the bead ones) could easily be worn around your neck as a pendant rather than on a bracelet, provided you've already got a suitable chain! However, Amazon.com also has a range of attractive sterling silver apple pendants and chains in a variety of finishes: plain, with stones (such as amber, cubic zirconia (CZ) or even amethyst), or with red and green enamel. My own choice would be for a pendant with a cabochon stone, i.e. a stone that's smooth and polished rather than faceted - cabochon settings are more tactile and they give a more realistic "apply" look. But your personal preference may be different, of course!...
