Not sterling silver
This is the first time in all the years I have shopped over the internet, that I have given a bad review. This bracelet said it was sterling silver. Had it said just silver I would not have been surprised when the copper colored metal started showing through. Sterling silver means through and... -
False advertising!
Don't be fooled by sterling silver stamp. Bracelet is made of cheap copper with silver "paint" not even silver plating. I had to get mine shortened and was advised by the jewelry store that I took it to, that this is not what it appeared and was advertised to be. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

I have ordered some really cheap ones previously and they are of horrible quality... How do I tell the good sellers from the bad?
You could go by price. If it's too cheap compared to other sellers, it's probably not sterling silver. If they are based in China or Hong Kong, they are probably knock offs too. Maybe try one seller with mid-range prices and then stick with them?

This is the reason why you need to get to know first the different items being offered by Pandora that you can have on your bracelet, the most basic of which is the chain where you would be putting your charms. Pandora bracelet chains come in three materials – 14k gold, sterling silver, and silver on gold. All of these chains are from 17 centimeters to 23 centimeters in length. With the use of a tape measure, you can see which length is the right one for you.
Once you have chosen the chain, you can now start looking around for the charms. Some people prefer their charms bracelet to include charms that represent a specific memory. Others prefer to have just one there, for example zodiac signs, on their bracelet. To make it more exciting, you can start by having charms representing milestones in your life. A word of caution, however – you need not get all the charms in one sitting. You can star by having a few ones now and then building your bracelet as time passes by.
